About Savings Goal Calculator
Deposit the same amount every month and the goal arrives at a fixed month: no returns or interest are involved, deposits just pile up. The yearly table shows the balance when each year finishes, and the overshoot card tells how much the deposits carry past the goal line.
This is the right tool for down payments, a fund of money you are working toward, or anything else planned as one steady deposit per month and nothing else.
Questions about Savings Goal Calculator
Do I get interest on saved money?
No: this model only counts deposits. If the bank pays returns, use a savings plan that compounds instead.
Does the last deposit cost less?
No. Deposits keep their full size to the end, and the overshoot card is exactly how steady plans finish a little past the goal.
Can I start from what I already saved?
Yes: put whatever is already toward the goal in the amount in hand field and only the difference gets deposited.
