Text Obfuscator
Hide a phrase from casual reading with a deterministic transform: three leet levels, a ROT-13 style letter scramble, or an ASCII mirror flip.
Fill in the values and calculate
The form sends itself back to this page — results print below, computed on the server.

About Text Obfuscator
These are visual transforms, not encryption: they stop casual reading, and every one of them can be undone by hand using the rules printed under the result.
The leet tables are fixed and spelled out in full. Level 1 swaps the five letters with a digit look-alike: a->4 e->3 i->1 o->0 s->5. Level 2 adds the rest of the single-character swaps: b->8 g->9 t->7 z->2. Level 3 completes all twenty-six letters with ASCII letter-shapes for the ones that have no single character to stand in: c->( d->|) f->|= h->|-| j->_| k->|< l->! m->|V| n->|\| p->|D q->(,) r->|2 u->|_| v->\/ w->\/\/ x->)( y->'/. Matching looks at the lowercase form of each character, so A and a swap the same way, and anything outside a table is copied through untouched.
The scramble rotates letters thirteen places and digits five, and the mirror flip reverses the order while swapping the characters that have a mirrored twin. Both are their own inverse: run either one again and the original text comes back.
Questions about Text Obfuscator
Is any of this encryption?
No. These transforms hide words from a casual glance only; the rules are printed with the result, so a determined reader can undo any of them.
Are the results stable?
Yes, there is no randomness anywhere: the same text and mode always produce the same output.
Can I undo it?
The scramble and the mirror flip undo themselves by running them again on the output. Leet is recovered by hand from the swap table in the notes.
Does leet level 3 change word length?
Yes. Level 3 replaces some letters with multi-character shapes like |_|, which is the point of the higher level.
