About Markdown Previewer
The preview runs on this site with the same small CommonMark renderer every other page uses, so what you see here is exactly what the output will look like when you paste the source back.
Support covers headings, paragraphs, bold, italics, strikethrough, inline code, fenced code blocks, links, images, block quotes, bullet and numbered lists, pipe tables and horizontal rules.
Every character of your input is escaped before markup is added, so HTML pasted inside the Markdown shows as text and can never inject live tags or scripts.

Is pasted HTML safe?
Yes. All of the source is escaped before any markup is generated, so a pasted script tag is shown as text, never run.
Which Markdown syntax is supported?
Headings, paragraphs, bold, italics, strikethrough, inline and fenced code, links, images, block quotes, bullet and numbered lists, pipe tables and horizontal rules.
Are links allowed anywhere?
Only http(s) links, mail: links, anchors, and paths relative to the page. Anything else in a link target becomes inert.
Does the text get saved or sent anywhere?
No. The preview renders on the page itself; nothing you paste is stored or sent to another server.
