About Random Number Generator

Each draw picks an integer in the range with exactly equal odds: a uniform decimal is multiplied across the range and floored, so the ends are as likely as the middle.

Fill in the seed and every number comes from an xorshift32 generator started at that seed: three fixed XOR-and-shift steps on one 32-bit word produce the same sequence on every visit, so a seeded roll replays exactly. Without a seed each visit draws fresh.

Questions about Random Number Generator

Are the numbers truly random?

Unseeded draws come from the browser's own randomness, which is fine for games, raffles and dice. Seeded draws run an xorshift32 generator started from the seed: random-looking but deterministic, which suits results you want to share or replay.

How does the no-repeats mode work?

It shuffles the whole range first and takes numbers off the top, so a repeat is impossible by construction. It needs a range at least as large as the count you ask for.

Can two people get the same numbers?

Yes. Fill in the seed and both visits produce the same sequence, so the seed works like a permalink for one roll.

Why show a sum and an average?

So a small draw can be checked at a glance: a raffle total or a dice sum can be confirmed without re-reading every number.
