About Anagram Solver

The solver matches your letters against a bundled offline word list, so every line printed is a real word and nothing is invented or fetched over a network. Exact anagrams use every letter of your pool exactly once; buildable words may leave letters unused, but each letter at most as often as the pool provides.

The table lists the buildable words that are not full anagrams, longest first, with a Scrabble score per word: the standard English letter values (a,e,i,o,u,n,r,s,t,l = 1; d,g = 2; b,c,m,p,f,h,v,w,y,k = 3-5; j,x,z,q the high tiles). Blank tiles and premium squares are not modelled; only the raw tile values.

Big letter pools explode combinatorially, so the listing is capped; the counts on the cards are the complete answer even when the rows were cut. Letters are folded to lowercase and non-letters dropped, which is what lets you paste a rack with separators in.

Questions about Anagram Solver

Are the word lists offline?

Yes. The lists ship with the site and load at page time, so solving nothing needs a network.

Is there a blank-tile wildcard?

Not in this version: type exactly the letters you really have, and the solver respects the count of each of them.

How are the Scrabble scores computed?

Standard English tile values summed over the word: blanks and board bonuses are not part of the model, so the score is the raw play value before any premium square.

Can I see fewer rows?

Yes, the row limit caps the listing. The counts above the table always report the full answer.

Why do the exact anagrams go in their own block?

So the full-pool answers stay unmissable at the top of the page; the table below is reserved for the shorter buildable words.
