About GPA Calculator

Type the grades you received — letters like B- or, on the US scale, plain scores like 88 — one per comma or line, and the page turns them into an average GPA with a letter equivalent and a distribution table.

The scale switch re-maps the letters: the standard US 4.0 bands, current UCAS A-level tariff points, or your own points map for games, leagues, and rubrics that use other numbers.

Questions about GPA Calculator

Do games or credits weigh into the GPA?

Every grade listed counts once, equally. A weighted average multiplies each grade by its credits and divides by their sum; you can approximate that by entering a game's grade as many times as its weight.

Can I type numeric scores instead of letters?

On the US scale any 0-100 number is accepted and converted to the letter band it lands in, shown in the notes. UCAS and custom scales want their own grade names.

What letter matches a 2.66 GPA?

The closest single grade point to your average, from the same table the average was built on — 2.66 on the 4.0 scale shows B- (2.7).

What does the UCAS option average?

It averages current UCAS A-level tariff points (A* 56, A 48, B 40, C 32, D 24, E 16), which is a points average, not a mark.
