About Sleep Quality Calculator
A night is scored against three things you can state plainly: the time you actually got, how many times you lost it, and how rested you were when the night began. That makes the score something you can act on rather than a wake-up-time number that only re-reports what you already knew you slept.
Time asleep carries most of the points because it is the part you control the most. Staying whole and starting rested close the gap. A short night with no wake-ups still loses its sleep debt.
Questions about Sleep Quality Calculator
Can two identical nights score differently?
No. The score reads only the inputs above; the same numbers always land on the same figure.
Why are wake-ups worth so few points?
One stumble off the bed is survivable; several nights of them are not. The scale costs you five points per extra wake-up rather than dropping the night.
Does going to bed early score better?
Only if the early bedtime becomes hours actually slept. Score is earned on time asleep, not time off.
