About Study Hour Planner

Study days are the weekday dates strictly between today and the exam, and the planner keeps the chosen number of weekdays inside each week, earliest first (Monday forward), so a "5 days" choice means Mon-Fri. Each open day gets floor(weekly minutes / days per week) minutes, and the calendar is filled with the largest topic first, splitting it across days only where a topic does not fit in one session.

Supply is the count of scheduled days times that per-day budget; demand is the summed hours from your list times sixty. When demand exceeds supply the plan reports the deficit and suggests cutting the largest topics in whole-hour pieces until the list fits.

Weekends and the exam day itself are never scheduled, so very near exam dates can leave no room at all. Topic hours above 48 per line are rejected, and hours figures are read as exactly hours (6 means 6 h).

Questions about Study Hour Planner

What happens when my list does not fit?

The calendar still fills every session that fits, then a note gives the exact deficit and names the largest topics to trim, in the amounts that would make the list fit.

Why do weekend days never appear?

Study sessions count as weekday work; scheduling weekends would mix commute-free assumptions into the plan, so the planner keeps Mon-Fri slots only.

Can I change which weekday I study on?

The count per week is chosen here; the page fills the earliest weekdays still left in each week, so the day labels shift one week if the exam date moves.

Does the split of the weekly cap change?

Each session day gets floor(weekly minutes / days per week) minutes, an even split, so raising days per week lowers each day's size but keeps the weekly total.
